May Beauty Favourites

Best Beauty products 2018

A round-up of all things beauty I was loving last month!

Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer (AU link): Everyone seems to have gone crazy over this primer, and for a good reason! This luxurious and velvety priming balm is amazing for prepping the skin and smoothing out the complexion. A little bit goes a long way so I love how long this has been lasting me even though I’ve been using it non-stop since I received it! So far I haven’t tried a Tatcha product that I haven’t loved (read about some of my other favourites here and here).

Dermalogica UltraCalming Calm Water Gel (AU link): Designed with Dual Action Hyaluronic Acid technology, this moisturising gel is so hydrating but lightweight. It’s become a go-to of mine for the warmer weather months and during the daytime.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Celestia Forte EDP (AU link): I can’t go past a good luxury fragrance, and I haven’t been able to put this one by Maison Francis Kurkdjia down lately! It’s a citrus and musk filled fragrance that smells divine!

REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic (AU link): I’ve been getting back into toners lately and I’m loving this one by Ren. Formulated with a blend of lactic acid and willowbark extract, it gently exfoliates and smooths the skin.

Ole Henriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Crème (AU link): I love this moisturiser for during the daytime when I still want hydration but don’t want anything that feels heavy. Powered by a unique combination of three sources of vitamin C, this leaves my skin glowing and hydrated, and it smells amazing too! My makeup also applies really well on top of this.

Marc Jacobs Tan-Tastic O!Mega Coconut Bronzer: I haven’t put this bronzer down since I tried it for the first time – it’s the perfect everyday bronzer for a number of skin tones – not too warm, not to cool. This is a great staple bronzer to have in your collection! Marc Jacobs beauty recently released an entire coconut collection (the eyeshadow palette and highlighting dew drops are gorgeous!) which I believe sold out pretty quickly but if you missed the collection, try the permanent O!Mega Bronzer.

Shu Uemura Skin Perfector Makeup Refresher Mist (AU link): I love a good mist to freshen up makeup and bring some life back to the skin. This Shu Uemura one is great for doing just that, and I love using it under makeup and on non makeup days to give my skin that extra bit of glow.

REN Kelp and Magnesium Body Scrub (AU link): This is a really nice gentle exfoliating balm that’s enriched with fresh sea and magnesium salts to polish, smooth and relieve muscle fatigue. It’s gentle enough to use a few times a week and it’s formulated with microalgae oil to restore essential minerals and hydrate the skin.
