Crossbody bags are probably my favourite style of bags to use. Being hands-free makes them so practical and easy. Whilst there’s definitely some more evening appropriate luxury crossbody bags below, there are also some styes that have enough room to fit all your essentials for a day out too.

A designer bag is a big investment, and it’s one that you’ll want to make sure you can actually get the use out of. If you’re in the market for your next (or first!) designer crossbody bag purchase, I’ve rounded up some of the best designer crossbody bags to invest in below that I can definitely recommend!

Best Designer Crossbody Bags

 

Celine Nano Luggage Bag

Let’s start with one of the best luxury crossbody bags and my personal favourite, the Celine Nano Luggage. I love this bag because even though it’s a mini bag, it fits so much! It can definitely carry all my day to day essentials so it’s a great everyday bag. I talk about it in my post on the Best Designer Bags to Invest In.

Even though this Celine luggage crossbody bag is the biggest bag in this list, it’s definitely still comfortable to wear as a crossbody bag (but also looks super cute carried by the handle). I have a Reel video on what fits inside the Nano size here.

 

 

Saint Laurent Wallet on Chain Bag

My next favourite, and also one of my first designer purchases, would have to be the Saint Lauren Wallet on Chain. I have a full review post of the YSL WOC here. What I love about it is that it can definitely be an evening bag as well as a daytime bag, and the chain detaches so you have the option of using it as a clutch for those more formal events. It’s one of the Best Designer Bags Under $2,000 to Invest In!

The leather is also very durable and can easily be wiped clean if it does get dirty. I’ve had mine for years and it still looks almost as good as new – it’s a piece that will definitely last you for a long time (like a good luxury crossbody bag should)! Chloe Drew Mini Bag

The Chloe Drew bag is such a great designer mini crossbody bag for the day time, and they now come in so many different finishes and styles. The leather is a bit softer so I wouldn’t say it’s as durable as the Saint Laurent bag mentioned above, but I think it’s such a classic style that’s easy to pair with a lot of outfits.

Because the leather is softer, it is a bit easier to pack it full with all your essentials than some of the other bags that have s leather finishes and can be stiffer. I go through exactly what can fit inside this Chloe Drew bag over on my Instagram ‘Bag’ story highlights.

 

Prada Cahier Bag

This is one of my favourite ever black designer bags right now – I just love the hardware and edginess of it so much! Although it’s a bit bulkier, it can still definitely be worn cross body. Gucci Dionysus Mini Chain Bag

The Dionysus is a style from Gucci I still really love! If you’re into the slightly edgy hardware definitely check this bag out. The Dionysus has amazing hardware and comes in a great size range, so there’s a size that will suit every outfit, from evening wear through to those days in the office.

This one is my newest Gucci purchase and I have an unboxing of it over on my Instagram TV. This is definitely a bag for those times where you don’t need to carry much with you though as it doesn’t fit a whole lot. Saint Laurent Kate Bag

Another great little Saint Laurent bag, this one is larger and fits a bit more than the Wallet on Chain, but can still definitely be worn cross body, along with on the shoulder. The leather is also really durable and it’s a bag that really does go with anything, day or night! Chanel Wallet on Chain Bag

Such a classic piece, Chanel bags are great investment pieces as their prices on classic styles should only go up! The Chanel Wallet on Chain, widely considered one of the top designer crossbody bags, is a great little bag for when you’re out and about and not needing to carry much. I would personally go with the caviar leather over the lambskin for both of these bags as it’s so much more durable. Chanel bags can definitely be expensive so look out for some pre owned styles that are in a good condition. I’ve linked some below!
