I recently picked up a whole heap of products from one of my long-time makeup loves, MAC Cosmetics. Below are some of my must-haves from the recent collections.
The Future MAC collection features the next generation of hyper-luminous Mineralize products. I’m a big fan of some of the Mineralize products so I was really excited for this collection. Below are some favourites I picked up.
Mineralize Skinfinish in Othereathly ($47): A limited edition product I always try and collect is the mineralize skinfinishes. I just love these and they look just as beautiful on the skin as they do in the pan (because seriously, how amazing is this?). Othereartly is described as a soft brown, soft pink, and silver. Used together they create a nice peachy shade with silvery sheen.
Mineralize Lipstick in Cybernaut ($46): MAC Mineralize lipsticks are a lightweight, hydrating formula with buildable coverage and a medium shine finish. Cybernaut is a beautiful light-medium pink with semi opaque coverage. I love mineralize lipsticks because they are moisturising over time. This colour is the perfect everyday nude!
Mineralize Glass in The Zone ($43): I really love MAC’s mineralize glosses. They’re hydrating with mostly medium coverage and have a beautiful finish. The Zone is a taupe brown colour with a gold shimmer that’s perfect for everyday or over a brown lip like Whirl (which I talk about below).
Mineralize Eyeshadow Quad in Full Orbit ($72): All the shades in this quad are so wearable and beautiful! A mix of taupes and pewters, these have a nice colour payoff when used both dry and wet. They’re blendable and wear well for around seven hours. I love using these with a damp brush as it just intensifies the colour and gives a more opaque coverage.
Brooke Candy Lipstick – Whirl ($40): One of my all-time favourite lipstick colours, Whirl, comes as part of the new Brooke Candy collection. Obsessed with this packaging! Whirl is a medium-dark rosy brown with a satin finish. It has great pigmentation and a creamy texture that wears well. I always try and pick up staple lipstick colours when they come out as part of limited edited collections.
Modern Twist Kajal Liner ($35): These new kohl-like liners glide on so smoothy and come in a really nice colour range with great pigmentation. They wear well for around seven to nine hours and have a waterproof formula. Ones I’ve been reaching for a lot include Long Espresso, Grey Tide, Groundbreaker and Squid.
Huggable Lipcolour in Bare Hug ($40): I love these Huggable lipsticks for a moisturising lipstick with nice pigmentation and shine. These gel-like lipsticks last up to six hours and have a semi opaque finish. Bare hug is a creamy soft peach colour that’s currently on high rotation in my makeup routine.
Huggable Glass in Pleasure First ($40): This warm blush pink shade is a beautiful everyday nude that looks amazing over a lipstick or lipliner but also on it’s own for a natural look. This Huggable Glass is a hydrating gloss that gives such a nice shine to the lips.
In Extreme Dimension Waterproof Mascara ($42): Anyone else super excited that this mascara now comes in a waterproof version? In Extreme Dimension is definitely a favourite of mine out of the MAC mascara range. It’s great for curling and lengthening lashes whilst also adding volume.
Mineralize Skinfinish in Nuanced ($47): I’m loving these pinwheel design limited edition skinfinishes. They can be applied alone or swirled together for a gorgeous glow. Nuanced is my favourite of the new shades; swirled together the shades create a gorgeous peachy colour. This has nice pigmentation and is very blendable.
Versicolour Stain ($45): These new gloss/stain hybrids leave a beautiful glassy shine on lips and have great pigmentation. These feel really nourishing and last for the majority of the day. I’ll definiltey be adding more of these shades to my collection!
VIVA GLAM Ariana Grande Lipstick ($36): I can’t wait to wear more of this shade as we move into winter (I love a good dark lip!). This deep matte plum shade is stunning. Wear it over a lipliner for it to really last all day. I’m yet to get my hands on the gloss but this looks gorgeous too!
Velvetease Lip Pencil in Promise Me ($35): Definitley one of my new favourite nudes! These lip pencils are so quick and easy to apply and have a really soft, smooth texture. I’ll be investing in some more of these.
Beauty Powder ($47): I picked up a couple of these beauty powders as park of the Flamingo Park collection and really love them. They can be used as highlighters, blushes or applied for an overall finish. My favourites are Pearl Sunshine, a soft peach with pink pearl, and Sunny Surprise, a soft peach with a satin finish. These are both really beautiful.
Flocking Fabulous Lipstick ($36): Another one I picked up from the Flamingo Park collection, this bright pink coral is such a nice, fun shade. It has great pigmentation and glides onto lips effortlessly. Definiltey one of my new favourite bright lip colours!
Cremesheen Glass in Sweet Tooth ($43): A warm midtone pink with fine gold pearl. I love this over a lipstick or lipliner to add a beautiful shine and touch of colour. Also from the Flamingo Park Collection.

They’re so good! x
I’m not a big makeup girl… but I have been wanting to explore some more makeup brands beyond my (Maybelline eyeliner, Urban Decay eyeshadow, and Revlon lipstick… that’s the only makeup I own/ever wear!). What I want to try is more lipstick brands, so maybe I’ll start with Mac…

Gorgeous post. Love all the photos and recommendations. I love MAC. They give back in so many ways. Remember to save your finished product. I think if you trade in like 6(?) empty lipstick tubes you get back one free. :)
