Villa Naga Putih – A Secluded Sanctuary in Ubud

Sometimes you need complete seclusion to truly relax and unwind. When that seclusion comes in the form of a three-story luxurious villa nestled in the treetops of a tropical jungle in Ubud – well that’s just a plus!

From the moment we pulled up at Villa Naga Putih, I was instantly enchanted by its elegant architectural design and how it perfectly captured the extraordinary views of the surrounding jungle. One step in and I realised the beautiful design didn’t stop at the facade – Naga Putih incorporates meticulous attention to detail designed to ensure an unforgettable experience and some serious #interiorinspo.

There is truly a tranquil ambience throughout the villa, with the only sound being the wind rustling through the trees in the jungle that surrounds you. One of the lovely villa staff cooks breakfast each morning in the fully equipped kitchen, so you don’t need to worry about leaving the villa in the morning. You can also arrange massages in the villa to really unwind and relax.

To say the villa is spacious would be an understatement; it has four bedrooms and six bathrooms spread across its three levels. It even has a media room that takes Netflix and chill to a whole new level with its state of the art technology and surround sound. You’ll have every modern luxury right at your fingertips here.

The sheer size of the property means you have countless spots to relax, take in different vantage points of the surrounding jungle and capture all the insta-worthy snaps! Unwind in the gazebo overlooking the 13-metre infinity pool or on one of the three expansive balconies. The downside of being in the heart of the jungle though is there’s definitely some wildlife, so keep this in mind if you aren’t a fan of bugs!

The Location

Villa Naga Putih is just five kilometres out of the Ubud, surrounded by a spectacular jungle above the Petanu river. Whilst the villa has a private driver that can whisk you in and out of town at your leisure, it costs around A$35 for a return trip each time to get lunch and dinner. If there’s a good group of you the villa staff can get groceries for you, but besides this there’s no food within walking distance of the villa and no other mode of transport besides taking the villa car. A trip to Ubud centre definitely needs to be on your list though!
