Since Gucci‘s Creative Director Alessandro Michele announced the launch of Gucci Beauty in 2019, the brand has launched a range of makeup products, from lipsticks to foundations and eyeliners.
Whilst I’m sure most of us know Gucci for their beautiful designer handbags, their beauty line is one that should definitely be on your radar.
What are the best Gucci makeup products? Like all makeup brands, there are some products that are worth the money, and some that are a miss. I’ve been trialling some of the range for a Gucci Beauty review, and have rounded up the best makeup from Gucci Beauty in this post for you.
Like most luxury beauty lovers, beautiful packaging always draws me in, and the packaging of the Gucci Beauty range didn’t disappoint! It features lots of gold toned packaging, pastel pink hues and beautiful details that just ooze luxury.
Are Gucci Beauty products worth the money? If you appreciate luxury packaging, beautiful formulas, and don’t mind the splurge, some of the Gucci makeup products are definitely worth adding to your shopping cart. Tried and tested, I’ve rounded up the best Gucci Beauty makeup products below!

Gucci Beauty Bronzer – Poudre De Beauté Éclat Soleil Powder
The Gucci bronzer is one of the best selling Gucci makeup products, and for a good reason! The packaging definitely lured me in, but the formula kept me going back, and the Gucci beauty bronzer now has a firm place in my everyday makeup drawer.
This Gucci bronzing powder gives the skin a luminous finish and a natural glow with just one swipe. It’s quite pigmented, but if you do want to build up the colour intensity, it layers beautifully without getting patchy. It has a soft and silky texture that is very easy to work with.
Perfect from creating a sun-kissed, healthy looking glow, this Gucci bronzer blends effortlessly and lasts well on the skin throughout the day. It’s formulated with shea butter and hyaluronic acid to nourish the skin and provide a silky, comfortable feel. I can’t talk about this bronzer without mentioning the packaging! It comes in a coveted aqua blue compact that screams luxe, along with a little angled brush (although I use my regular bronzer blush for applying this).
If you’ve been on the fence about purchasing, I hope this Gucci bronzer review helps you make up your mind! It’s a firm favourite in my Gucci makeup collection. I use the shade 3, which, despite it’s name, is actually lighter than shade 2. It has a fine, golden pearl and a satin finish. There’s currently 5 shades available to choose from.
Gucci Beauty Rouge à Lèvres Mat Lipstick
Being a self confessed lipstick addict, I had to try the Gucci Lipsticks when they launched. These Gucci Mat Lipsticks have an intense colour payoff and soft, velvety texture with a matte finish.
All shades are created with a formula dense in pure pigments, so the pigmentation is great. The Gucci Beauty lipsticks also come in a really nice shade range, with everything from wearable nudes, to bright reds, pinks and purples. The shades were all inspired by iconic Hollywood movies and characters from the gilded era.
As these lipsticks have a matte finish, they’re long-lasting on the lips (and last even longer when applied over a lip liner). They’re formulated with gelling waxes, so they have a nice soft and velvety feel. Each lipstick is encased within gold-toned packaging etched with a beautiful engraved design. The packaging was inspired by vintage designs, recalling an era when lipstick cases were seen as objects of art and decoration.
Gucci Beauty Mascara L’Obscur
It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to mascaras these days, and I have a few favourites I don’t usually stray from. When I saw that Gucci was coming out with a mascara, I knew I had give a Gucci mascara review!
The Gucci Beauty mascara gives my lashes definition with one coat, but can be layered to give volume and length with a couple of coats. It has a flexible elastomer brush that makes the mascara easy to apply. The brush is a on the smaller size, which I love, so it can coat even the smaller lashes in the corners of the eyes. This mascara wears well for me throughout the day, and gives nice length and curl to my lashes.
Like the other Gucci Beauty products I’ve talked about, this mascara is also encased within Gucci’s covetable signature packaging.
Gucci Beauty Fluide De Beauté Fini Naturel foundation
As soon as I got my hands on the Gucci foundation, I started putting it to the test as part of my Gucci makeup review. The Gucci Beauty foundation is a liquid foundation with a natural finish and light but buildable coverage.
The foundation is formulated with Polymer Technology, which provides a transforming texture for effortless application, and Soft-Focus Powder Technology, which blurs the look of imperfections and fine lines. It also contains glycerin, which is a moisturising humectant that improves skin-barrier functions.
The coverage is very natural. A light application will give you a barely-there finish, but it can be built up to a medium finish. The Gucci foundation is available in 40 shades.
Is the Gucci foundation worth it? I love the finish of this foundation and it wears well on me, even on long days, which is something I definitely look for. It also pairs beautifully with the Gucci Priming Serum (talked about below). If you like a natural coverage I’d recommend giving the Gucci foundation a try.

Gucci Beauty Poudre De Beauté Mat Naturel Face Powder
Quite possibly the powder compact of my dreams, this is probably my favourite packaging from the whole Gucci Beauty collection! The Gucci face powder is a smoothing face powder that’s lightweight and buildable, and it looks just as amazing on the skin as it does in the packaging!
This Gucci powder is perfect for setting foundation and helping to smooth out skin texture. It can also be worn alone to enhance your natural skin, or just on the T-Zone to get rid of any unwanted shine.
If you’re applying on-the-go, this Gucci Beauty powder does come with a soft sponge applicator that’s made from microfibre textures to give a smooth and even application. It’s stored neatly under the powder in the gold-toned compact.
Formulated with a combination of micro reflecting lamellar powders and soft focus pigments, this Gucci powder applies smoothly to create an even, luminous complexion.
Gucci Beauty Rouge à Lèvres Satin Lipstick
Along with their matte formula, Gucci also has a satin finish lipstick. I usually love a satin finish a lipstick, so I had to try these out and give you another Gucci lipstick review. The Gucci lipstick Satin formula is creamy, pigmented and comfortable to wear.
These Gucci lipsticks are smooth and easy to apply. They’re also quite hydrating and have a really nice colour payoff. The Satin lipsticks are currently available in 36 shades, with everything from easy-to-wear nudes, to vibrant pinks and reds, to bold purples.
All the Satin lipsticks are packaged in a gold case with an Art Deco inspired decorative style, drawn by Alessandro Michele, etched onto the lid.
Gucci Beauty Sérum De Beauté Fluide – Silk Priming Serum
A primer creates the canvas for the rest of your makeup application, so it’s important to get your primer choice right! The Gucci primer gives the skin a luminous matte finish whilst helping to even the skin tone and create a soft glow effect.
The Gucci Beaauty primer is formulated with Squalane, which helps to replenish the skin’s moisture barrier, providing hydration and luminosity. It also has Powder Technology that gives the skin a nice silky texture, helping your foundation to blend better. Elastomer Technology works to provide a soft-focus effect, minimising the look of skin texture and pores.
This Gucci Priming Serum was non-sticky, and smoothing, and I think it would work well for different skin types. It definitely pairs well with the Gucci foundation (mentioned above).
Gucci Beauty Vernis à Ongles Nail Polish
Inspired by vintage nail polish, the Gucci nail polish capsule collection consists of five shades. The shades include some bright colours, a black and a nude, so there’s definitely some nice options to choose from! Each of the shades are dedicated to iconic Hollywood movies and characters from the gilded era.
These nail polishes are lovely – they’re fast-drying, have a nice colour payoff and a beautiful shiny finish. The Gucci Beauty nail polishes all come housed in a vintage inspired cylindrical glass bottle.
