Guangzhou city
Start your trip off with exploring Guangzhou, China’s third-largest city and the capital city of Guangdong Province. Get lost amongst the streets as you come across old temples and other hidden gems. Guangzhou is the home of traditional Chinese food, so be sure to have some traditional meals at some of the many restaurants. Don’t miss Canton Tower for a view of the city that’s hard to beat, and end your day with an evening cruise down the Pearl River.
Xinhui Bird’s Paradise
Find some peace and quiet in amongst the hustle and bustle of Xinhui in the Xinhui bird’s paradise. Take a relaxing boat trip through the wetlands and enjoy the scenery and bird life. Don’t miss the heart of Birds’ Paradise, an island with a banyan tree forest on it with hundreds of birds to be seen.
Fengjian Water Town
This village in Shunde is full of old bridges and shrines and is rich with local culture. You can also find a number of local dishes that are worth a try. Explore Fengjian water town by boat for the best way to get around.
