Sisley Paris

Sisley Paris-2

Review and swatches of my latest Sisley Paris products.

I’ve tried quite a few Sisley products in the past (read about it here and here) and have since expanded my collection to include some of their eye and lip makeup products.

Phyto-Lip Shine

These are a bit of a cross between a lipstick and a gloss, so they’re perfect for an everyday wash of colour. The texture of these is really nice and hydrating with a glossy finish. All the shades I tried out did have a shimmery finish so they give a nice shine to the lips. I tried these in the shades Sheer Nude (pretty much as the name says, a gorgeous sheer nude colour), Sheer Peach (A nice warm-toned nude that has more of a frosted finish), Sheer Coral (A beautiful, summery shade) and Sheer Raspberry (the darkest of the colours, a reddish pink). These contain Kokum and Mango butters help to hydrate the lips, so these are a great choice for anyone who get’s dry lips or who doesn’t want the full coverage of a lipstick.

Phyto-Lip Gloss

These glosses are not only perfect for adding that extra bit of shine to your lips, they also work to hydrate dry lips. I usually use glosses over a drier lipstick to add some moisture but these are also beautiful on their own. These glosses are delicately scented with fresh notes of mint and tea leaves. I tried out both Nude and Beige Rose which are nice natural shades that are great for every day.

Phyto-Kohl Pencils

Sisley has two types of kohl pencils, Photo-Kohl Star and Photo-Kohl Perfect. The formula of the Photo-Kohl Star pencils contains a beautiful pearl particle content which highlights and glimmers. I tried this in the shade Dark Amethyst which is a glittery deep purple, great for adding intensity to a smokey eye. It contains a high proportion of oils and waxes that makes this pencil glide on ever so smoothy, making it quick and easy to apply. Adorned with a genuine Swarovski crystal in the same shade as the lead, these Phyto-Khol Star pencils are just stunning.

The Phyto-Khol Perfect pencils have a shiney metallic finish. They too have a high proportion of oils and waxes so they glide on effortlessly. I tried this in the shade Snow, which is great for adding to the water line to wake up tired eyes.

I really want to try these lip glosses. The ones I have (from other brands) are usually a bit drying, and I am looking for something hydrating this winter. Thank you for sharing this detailed review and Happy New Year!:)

Love the slight sheen to these glosses! And the swap really helps to see the colors in action. I’ve only tried their skincare products so learning about their cosmetics is really new to me. Thanks for the lovely post! :) xo~ Lena
