I change bags pretty often, which means I frequently clean out all that stuff that just accumulates in my bag throughout the week (I’m sure a few people can relate to me here!). These are the essentials that always make their way from bag to bag and get me through the day.
Prada Saffiano Wallet (similar here): A good wallet is a must. I love this Prada one as it’s a bit smaller than the classic size, which means it’s easy to find things and it fit’s in most of my clutches and smaller bags too. The saffiano leather means it doesn’t scratch too easily and it wears well over time.
Louis Vuitton Small Agenda: I always carry around a notebook to jot things down in throughout the day. The small agenda is the perfect handbag size and the Filofax pocket size refills fit perfectly in it! I bought some cute little dividers off Etsy to keep things more organised.
Saint Laurent Cardholder (similar here): A cardholder is super handy for those cards you use daily. When I’m going out and taking a small clutch or bag I’ll just grab this instead of my wallet (plus it looks so pretty!).
Bobbi Brown Eye Opening Mascara: If I’m heading out after a day in the office I’ll always add a couple of coats of mascara to glam things up a little. I picked up this Bobbi Brown one the other week and have not put it down since – it gives instant volume and length to lashes.
Chanel Coco Noir: I’m obsessed with this fragrance lately (packaging perfection?). I always have a perfume in my bag for long days out.
Lip Products: I have way to many lip products in my bag most of the time! I always carry around a lip balm like this Smith’s Rosebud Salve and whatever lipstick I’m using for the day. M.A.C favourites include Velvet Teddy, Brave and Kinda Sexy.
A good hand cream: I’ve loved the Aveda Hand Relief for years- it’s so rich and nourishing. I’m constantly putting hand cream on throughout the day and always pick up some travel sized ones that are perfect for keeping in your handbag.
A face powder: I always carry a face powder with me for touch ups on the go. At the moment I’m using the M.A.C Mineralize Skinfinish, which has been a long-time favourite of mine. It gives a nice coverage without being too heavy. I use the Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki brush for application (always look for something retractable so you don’t get makeup in your bag!).
