Everyday Basics with Marks & Spencer

Everyday Basics with Marks & Spencer

Everyday wardrobe basics are by far the most worn items in my closet. Classic, comfortable pieces are always part of any capsule wardrobe and will never go out of style. Investing in neutral colours means your basics will go with anything and can be mixed and matched to create multiple outfits. This month I’ve teamed up with Marks & Spencer to show you three of my must-have quality basics that are constantly on high rotation in my wardrobe.

M&S COLLECTION White Long Sleeve Shirt

The Skinny Jeans: Whilst I definiltey pick up a few seasonal jean styles here and there, the skinny jean is a staple style I’ll always own, and my go-to for the weekend. I love high waisted styles as they’re so flattering and can be dressed up with a statement belt for the evenings. The Everywear Jean is seriously comfortable to wear and can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. I’ve rolled up the hems in this look to give these jeans a more laid-back weekend feel.

M&S THE EVERYWEAR JEAN High Rise Super Skinny Jeans

The White ShirtA must-have in any wardrobe, the white shirt is the perfect partner for pretty much every pair of bottoms that I own. If I’m not wearing a white shirt casually like in this look, I’ll pair it with a high waisted skirt (I love this one here) for the office or some denim shorts for the beach.

The Mules: These black mules have definiltey become one of my favourite pair of shoes to slip on with basically any weekend outfit. The block heel makes them super comfortable and easy to walk in. This style contains Insole, which redistributes your weight away from the balls of your feet, helping to reduce pressure and increase ankle stability.

M&S COLLECTION Block Heel Mule Shoes

With such a large range of womenswear, Marks & Spencer is my one-stop-shop for essential everyday pieces that are affordable, comfortable and stylish. What are your everyday essentials?
