Part II of some of my favourite products from last month (read part I here).
Laura Mercier Candleglow Foundation ($65): This foundation is great for those who like a light to medium coverage and natural looking finish. I love this foundation for during the day as I prefer a more natural finish. It’s lightweight, blendable and wears well for up to 10 hours.
Clinique Cheek Pop ($40): I love these blushes! Not only do they look amazing in the packaging, they look just as good on the skin, apply smoothly and wear well. Seriously addicted to these!
Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme ($43): I really love these Le Marc Lip creams; they’re a creamy, highly pigmented, moisturising lipstick with 10 hours of longevity. I’m a bit obsessed with beige/ brown lipstick shades at the moment and ‘230 J’Adore’ has become one of my favourites.
Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturiser ($62): I’m a massive fan of Laura Mercier’s original tinted moisturiser, and this Illuminating one didn’t disappoint. It delivers a beautiful, radiant finish with a buildable, sheer coverage. Sometimes I’ll mix this into my foundation when I want a fuller coverage but a more radiant finish.
Napoleon Perdis Bronze Patrol ($60): Seriously, how amazing does this look? This baked powder is perfect for a radiant bronze glow. This can also be used wet for a more intense finish.
Clinique Sculpting Contour and Highlight Chubby Sticks ($42 each): These Clinique chubby sticks make contouring and highlighting a dream. They’re so creamy and blendable. I blend them out with the Artis Oval 6 Brush – it does an amazing job with contouring and highlighting and blends so seamlessly. I’ll be doing a review on Artis brushes next month – stay tuned!
Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lip Colour ($37): These Laura Mercier lipsticks are nicely pigmented and moisturising with a satin matte finish. They wear well and have a buildable formula that’s medium to high coverage. I’m loving ‘Embrace’ which is a beautiful every day pink shade.
Napoleon Perdis Contour Brow Kit ($49): A great brow kit for anyone with light to medium brows. This kit contains two brow shadows, shaping wax, tweezers and a small brush. The two shadows also double as eyeshadows, making it great for traveling.
Napoleon Perdis Auto Piolet Skin Primer ($59): I’m always on the lookout for amazing primers and I found two I love this month. This Napoleon Perdis one is a gel-like lotion that glides onto skin, prepping it for your foundation. It contains Chamomile, Yarrow extract and Vitamin E to soothe and moisturise.
Marc Jacobs Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer (US$44): This skin-smoothing primer is infused with five types of coconut to nourish and hydrate the skin, making it a great primer for normal to dry skin types. This creates a great base for foundation and helps it last throughout the day.
Tarte Bae Tartiest Lip Paint ($29): These lip paints are a full coverage, long wearing liquid lipsticks. Bae is a medium-dark red with blue undertones. It has a satin finish and wears well for about 6 hours. I’ve got a massive review and haul coming up on some Tarte products within the next month so watch this space!
