9 Must-Have Nail Colours for Winter

9 Must-Have Nail Colours for Winter

Whilst winter typically appeals to everyone’s darker side, it doesn’t always need to call for deep red hues and blacks. Instead, embrace the winter nude (a deeper, cooler toned everyday nude), greys and just a pop of colour. I’ve hunted down 9 of my favourite shades to complete your winter nail polish wardrobe this season (all available from Vicinity Centres).

L’Oreal Color Riche ‘Grenat Irreverent (556)’ (available from Priceline): A classic winter hue, this deep burgundy colour makes a bold statement whilst still being very wearable.

YSL La Laque Couture Nail Lacquer in ‘Beige Leger (22)’ (available from David Jones):  Quite possibly the perfect everyday winter shade, this colour is a brown-beige that makes for a beautiful nail option that will go with everything.

OPI ‘Taupe-less Beach’ (available from David Jones): A grey-taupe shade is a must in my winter nail polish wardrobe and this OPI colour is so stunning and easy to wear.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in ‘Red Zin (610)’ (available from Priceline): Because everyone needs at least one dark red in their nail polish collection. This is an amazing vampy red for those days where you’re feeling a darker shade.

Must-Have Neutral Nail Colours for Winter

OPI ‘Coconuts Over’ (available from David Jones): Embrace the perfect winter nude with this light toasted taupe shade from OPI.

Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire in ‘Lilac Belt (069)’ (available from David Jones): add a pop of colour this winter with this beautiful cool-toned orchid hue.

Rimmel Super Gel Nail Polish ‘Bare Hug (013)’ (available from Priceline): A stunning beige taupe, this is a beautiful everyday winter shade.

Sally Hansen Color Therapy Nail Polish in ‘Mud Mask (160)’ (available from Priceline): Neutral brown tones will never go out of style for winter. Wear this as one coat for a subtle natural wash of colour or build it up to something deeper.

OPI ‘Barefoot in Barcelona’ (available from David Jones): A beautiful pink shade that’s slightly darker than your everyday nude, this shade is the perfect colour to take you from winter to spring.

Hi sweetie, I love all the nail polishes that you selected. I would most likely pick the “Bare Hug” from Rimmel. I just love that shade.

All these shades are gorgeous. My favourite is the beige Leger from YSL.
    Have a great day, dear.
